YUCK! Magazine Covers August of the Damned

Our first annual August of the Damned got some love from YUCK! Magazine. Writer Jacki Burns covered the 12-hour, 11-band day at Blackwater Draw in Bryan — fire-breathing performances by Meesh Flows and sets from The Hyatus, Rosed Grave, Phencyclidine, Alien Acid, Earth Color, Duplicate, From The Threshold, Youthinasia, Gobblinz, and MadRant, plus cold beer and food truck bites courtesy of Blackwater.

YUCK! summed it up nicely, writing that Tilted Fuzz and Blackwater “prove that alternative music has the space to thrive.” Thank you to Jacki Burns, Noe Trujillo, and the whole YUCK! team for coming out and capturing the day.
